☁️ Voila Update – 22 January 2024

It’s late January in East Yorkshire — the mornings are icy, the inboxes are thawing, and everyone’s wondering how it’s still not payday 🧊💸 While the kettle’s working overtime, we’ve been brewing up one of our biggest updates yet. New couriers, fresh features, smoother dashboards, and more tracking options than you can shake a barcode at. Settle in:

🖥️ UI Improvements – Dashboards That Look Back
Both the Shipping and Tracking dashboards now default to showing the past 7 days instead of just today. More context, less confusion — and no more blank screens on a Monday morning.

🚚 New Couriers – Five Fresh Faces
Say hello to some new courier friends now live in Voila:

  • DHL Parcel UK Cloud – Domestic and international ready

  • UPS V2 with OAuth – Auth that’s smoother than your flat white

  • DHL Parcel DE – For customers shipping out of Germany

  • Huxloe Logistics – Domestic + international integration now active

  • FastWay – For our lovely Irish customers and warehouses 🇮🇪

🧰 New Features – Labels, Bundles, Slips & More
A huge batch of improvements now available, including:

  • Pallex Bundles: Send a small parcel with a pallet in the same shipment

  • Multiple pallet types now supported for Pallex

  • New endpoints to generate commercial invoices and packing slips post-shipment

  • Custom packing slips now possible

  • Bulk collection sheets: Print what to pick, from where, and how many — now thermal-paper ready 🧾

  • S3 key + label URL merge: All in one request

  • ‘Damaged’ tracking status added to the API GUI and webhook events

  • Final mile label support for Starlinks

  • Next Day check field added for EvriCorporate & HermesCorporate to route economy based on postcode

  • Royal Mail Click and Drop manifest call now supported

  • Royal Mail Low Volume tracking added (25k+ shipments/year required)

🛠️ Bug Fix – DHL Parcel UK Cloud Limit
We’ve added a 70kg consignment limit for DHL Parcel UK Cloud at their request to prevent errors. Heavy-duty fix for heavy-duty parcels.

  • FedEx Cross Border

  • Bird System

All now added to our tracking suite and flapping along nicely.
