☁️ Voila Update — 13 June 2025

A range of updates this week improving courier compliance, customs handling, and overall system reliability:

🔧 Courier Fixes & Enhancements

AnPost – CN23 & Label Enhancements

We’ve made several updates to improve AnPost label and customs handling:

  • Labels now return in 6x4” size (previously A6).

  • CN23s now automatically generate for all non-domestic shipments, including those under the Windsor Framework, and appear directly below the shipment label.

  • Multi-label support has been fixed.

  • Parcel Locker service is now supported.

  • Removed outdated EU Standard and Customs Declaration templates (pre-Brexit).

  • Wrong barcode type (QR Code) now uses correct barcode type (datamatrix) in line with AnPost spec.

  • Redundant courier-specific keys removed but remain backwards compatible.

DX Freight – Tracking Fix

Tracking URLs now return as an array, linking directly to individual shipment pages for better visibility.

Parcel2Go – Reliability & Data Improvements

  • Introduced internal throttling logic to prevent premature label retrieval attempts — labels now retry once per second (up to 15x) if needed.

  • International shipments now include parcel-level customs data (origin countries, HS codes, quantities, etc.).

  • Fixed issue with short address fields causing shipment failures.

Amazon – Preference Handling Enhanced

  • Added support for delivery_experience as part of the service_preference courier-specific.

  • Old key:value format still works for backwards compatibility.

  • Resolved issue with multi-parcel error handling.

Mintsoft / Parcelhub / Whistl

  • HS codes and customs descriptions now populate correctly via Mintsoft.

  • Fixed incorrect packaging_weight mapping for both Parcelhub and Whistl.

🛠️ General Fixes & UI Improvements

  • Reseller accounts: Fixed notification template CRUD operations.

  • Email Templates: Previously non-functional actions now working as expected.

  • Hosted Pages: Fully redesigned for a more consistent visual experience.

  • “Your Plan” section: Background image now behaves correctly on smaller screens.

  • Added validation for field lengths in createLabelShipment records.

  • AnPost IFTMIN files now map company_name and address lines correctly.
